Cannabidiol, or "CBD" is a naturally-occuring substance found in hemp and in marijuana. Since this cannabinoid constituent of cannabis is found in these known plants, CBD is often misconstrued as a "dangerous drug" or that you can "get high" from CBD. That cannot be farther from the truth.
The CBD in CBD hemp oil is most often extracted from hemp as opposed to marijuana, since it is naturally higher in CBD and low in THC. Therefore, it is THC, or "tetrahydrocannabinol" that is found in high levels in marijuana that causes the high. To learn more about the many non-evasive health benefits of CBD, watch our video.
